It’s Official: More For Many Launches in the Midwest and Beyond
Yesterday, after six months of planning, we formally announced the launch of More For Many. The response has been humbling – and exhilarating! Thank you for your encouragement, support, and good wishes.
This morning, we shared a press release with major outlets in the nonprofit and philanthropic community, as well as with regional media here in the Midwest.
Why the Midwest? While our work is national in scope, I’m committed to serving the communities I call home. Wherever you live, there’s so much good being done right where you are — and it’s gratifying to support it and still drive home at the end of the day.
That said, I look forward to partnering with the fantastic leaders in Washington, D.C., Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and other purpose-driven centers across the continent.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll share more about our values, work, and approach. For now, here’s the official press release for those who’d like to read more.
Veteran Leader Launches More For Many to Serve Midwest Nonprofits and Family Businesses
South Bend firm brings national expertise to help purpose-driven organizations multiply impact
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- September 9, 2025 -- Jeff Shuck, a 35-year veteran of purpose-driven consulting, today announced the launch of More For Many, LLC, a firm dedicated to helping nonprofits, family-owned businesses, and philanthropists uncover opportunities, grow audiences, and expand their impact.
Headquartered in South Bend, More For Many focuses on the Midwest’s robust nonprofit and family business sectors, including key hubs in Indianapolis and Chicago. Indiana’s over 34,000 registered nonprofits employ over 267,000 people, while nearly a third of Indiana businesses are family-owned. In Illinois, greater Chicagoland alone is home to more than 2,300 nonprofits with annual revenues above $2 million.
“Purpose matters more than ever,” said Shuck, Founder and President. “Nine in ten people value meaningful work over salary, yet Gallup reports global employee engagement at just 21%. We’re in a meaning gap: people want work tied to values, but daily realities fall short. Today’s fiscal pressures increase that tension. More For Many helps close the gap with strategies, insights, and inspiration to help missions multiply.”
The firm offers practical support in three areas:
- Strategy to assess environments, prioritize actions, and grow at scale.
- Insights through data modeling, market analysis, and stakeholder listening.
- Inspiration via branding, storytelling, and workshops to re-energize teams.
Drawing on Shuck’s leadership at Plenty Consulting and Event 360—where he helped raise nearly $1 billion for charitable causes—More For Many launches with anchor clients including the Elevate Leadership Forum, a peer group of Chicago-area CEOs.
“Jeff connects leaders to purpose, profit, and one another," said Dan Horton, CEO of insurance firm The Horton Group. “More For Many is exactly the kind of practical, purpose-driven partner we need in the Midwest.”
“We believe in better,” Shuck added. “Whether it’s a nonprofit sharpening fundraising, a family business planning succession, or a funder aligning grants, we aim to create clarity and momentum. In the Midwest, where community and legacy run deep, it’s time to multiply what’s possible—more for hope, more for growth, more for all.”
